Mausolée de Sidi kaouki, chef-d’œuvre de l’architecture tamazghat. Par Mohammed Hifad.

Il était une fois un chef- d’oeuvre d’architecture tamazghat , du nom de Sidi Kaouki, et dont il ne reste aujourd’hui presque que ruines et gravas emportés chaque hiver par les vagues de l’océan en furie dans l’indifférence totale , voulue, calculée, politique et idéologique, pour faire disparaître à jamais toute trace du patrimoine matériel et immatériel du peuple marocain amazgha.


Comble du ridicule , de l’ignorance et de l’obscurantisme, un ancien président de la commune , amazgha et originaire de la région, avait construit une mosquée tout près de ce mausolée car ,selon lui ,c’est une ancienne chapelle du temps où les habitants étaient encore Chrétiens avant de se convertir à l’Islam et la prière y est haram,( interdite par l'Islam).
Pourtant un Alim, docte religieux traditionnel de la région , à qui les habitants avaient demandé s’ils pouvaient ouvrir une porte à l’Est qui donne directement sur le tombeau sans laisser les femmes et les enfants passer par cette obscurité opaque le long d’un couloir d’une quinzaine de mètres avant d’arriver à la tombe du Saint homme qui est enterré là.
Il leur a interdit de le faire .et il a bien raison car il s’agit d’une architecture religieuse spirituelle et mystique par excellence.
La porte qui mène au mausolée est ouverte vers l’Ouest, vers l’océan grandiose et infini.
On suit un long couloir , vers l’Est,dans l’obscurité totale en tâtonnant,puis on tourne à gauche et, de nouveau , on suit toujours vers l’Est et là ,à gauche ,on aperçoit une faible lumière qui vient de l’intérieur .En entrant , on voit une lumière qui entre par un orifice en haut à l’Est , dirigé vers le grand Orient.
Sur la coupole, on distingue les motifs franc-maçonniques suivants :
le maillet, le compas , la coupe, le chapelet avec une croix, un fusil, un couperet,des fibules de femme amazighe, le carré( la pierre), le triangle,etc .Ils doivent correspondre à mon avis au grade de l'homme enterré là avec des grades locaux comme les fibules des femmes amazighes. La peinture est d'un rouge-sang certainement du pourpre ,une technique spécifiquement amazighe et fabriquée à partir de l'encore d'un mollusque le murex et il existait des ateliers sur les deux îles de Mogador dites les îles purpuraires datant de l'époque romaine et du roi amazigh Juba II qui avait sa propre villa sur la grande île de Mogador . Cette peinture était importée par les Romains et seuls les habits des nobles en étaient peints, ce qui n’était pas le cas chez nous. Comme il y avait un rocher à l'ouest qui porte le nom du rocher du Pharaon .On sait que les sculpteurs des Pharaons marquent son passage par des écrits sur les rochers .Il doit s'agir de Juba II puisqu'on appelle sa ville et capitale Volubilis le palais du Pharaon.Il ne faut pas oublier qu'il est le mari de la fille de Cléopâtre, elle-même Cléopâtre Séléné II ( 40 av. J.-C. / v. 5 de de l' ère chrétienne ), parfois appelée Cléopâtre VIII , c'est la fille de Cléopâtre VII et de Marc Antoine .
Après la peur du couloir obscur , de notre corps, de nos sentiments et de notre esprit, nous retrouvons enfin la lumière et la sérénité du recueillement autour de la tombe cachée par un sarcophage élevé d’un mètre , en bois , en dos d’âne au sommet et couvert lui-même d’un voile vert, puis un silence total qui fait échos à notre vide intérieur , un vide nécessaire pour faire le plein par la suite.
Et en sortant , comme par enchantement , l’obscurité du couloir n’existe plus et on voit clairement notre chemin comme une libération avec une grande sensation de joie , de confiance en soi et de bien-être physique et moral.
En arrivant au seuil de la porte de sortie, face à l’océan bleu et infini , on est accueilli par une profusion d’odeurs, de bruits de vagues, de cris des mouettes , de paroles brisées par les rafales du vent des alizés chargées d’embruns froids et de gros grains de sables qu’on reçoit comme des gifles sur le visage pour nous réveiller du rêve éveillé et de l’état second du recueillement que nous venons de vivre comme dans un autre monde, une véritable frontière entre la vie et la mort.
Mon père m'a raconté que les gens ont demandé à Sidi Kaouki pourquoi il est venu s’installer seul au bord de la mer loin des habitants .Il leur demande à son tour comment ils voient les vagues de la mer .Elles sont bien sûr agitées et vont dans tous les sens .Il donne à l’un d’entre eux un azaâkoune, un récipient en terre cuite dont il se sert pour faire ses ablutions, et lui dit d’aller le remplir de la vague en mouvement. Une fois revenu, il leur demande de nouveau comment ils voient l’eau du récipient .Elle est stable et ne bouge plus. C’est alors qu’il leur dit que sa vie, son cœur et son esprit ressemblaient à ces vagues agitées en continuel mouvement et ils sont devenus comme cette eau du récipient.

Mausoleum of Sidi kaouki, masterpiece of Tamazghat architecture.

Once upon a time there was a masterpiece of Tamazghat architecture, named Sidi Kaouki, of which only ruins and rubble are left today each winter by the waves of the ocean in fury in indifference. total, deliberate, calculated, political and ideological, to remove forever all traces of tangible and intangible heritage of the Amazigh Moroccan people.

The height of ridicule, ignorance and obscurantism, a former president of the commune, Amazgha and native of the region, had built a mosque near this mausoleum because, according to him, it is an old chapel of time where the inhabitants were still Christians before converting to Islam and the prayer is haram, (forbidden by Islam).

Yet an Alim, a learned traditional religious of the region, to whom the inhabitants had asked if they could open a door to the East which gives directly on the tomb without leaving the women and the children to pass by this opaque darkness along a corridor of about fifteen meters before reaching the tomb of the holy man who is buried there.

He has forbidden them to do so, and he is right because it is a spiritual and mystical religious architecture par excellence.

The gate leading to the mausoleum is open to the west, to the great and infinite ocean.

We follow a long corridor, to the east, in total darkness groping, then we turn left and again, we always follow the East and there, on the left, we see a dim light that comes from On the inside, we see a light that enters through an opening at the top to the east, directed towards the great Orient.
On the dome, we distinguish the following Freemasonic patterns:
the mallet, the compass, the cup, the rosary with a cross, a rifle, a chopper, fibulae of Amazigh woman, the square (the stone), the triangle, etc. They must correspond in my opinion to the rank of the man buried there with local grades like the fibulae of Amazigh women. The painting is certainly blood red purple, a specifically Amazigh technique and made from the still of a murex murex and there were workshops on the two islands of Mogador say the purpurar islands dating from the Roman era and Amazigh king Juba II who had his own villa on the big island of Mogador. This painting was imported by the Romans and only the clothes of the nobles were painted, which was not the case here.As there was a rock to the west that bears the name of the rock of Pharaoh. After the fear of the dark corridor, our body, our feelings and our spirit, we finally find the light and the serenity of the recollection around the tomb hidden by a sarcophagus raised one meter, wooden, back of donkey at the top and covered himself with a green veil, then a total silence that echoes our inner emptiness, a void needed to refuel thereafter.

And as we come out, as if by magic, the darkness of the corridor no longer exists and we clearly see our way as a liberation with a great feeling of joy, of self-confidence and of physical and moral well-being.

Arriving at the threshold of the exit door, facing the blue and infinite ocean, we are greeted by a profusion of smells, sounds of waves, screaming seagulls, words broken by the wind gusts of the trade winds cold sprays and coarse grains of sand that we receive as slaps on the face to wake us from the waking dream and the second state of the meditation that we have just experienced as in another world, a real frontier between life and death.
My father told me that people asked Sidi Kaouki why he came to live alone at the seaside away from the inhabitants. He asks them in turn how they see the waves of the sea. They are of course agitated and go in all directions. He gives to one of them an azaakoune, a terracotta pot which he uses to make his ablutions, and tells him to fill it with the moving wave. Once back, he asks them again how they see the water container. It is stable and does not move. It was then that he told them that his life, his heart and his mind resembled those waves agitated in continual movement and they became like this water of the container.
